About Us
The Friends of South Portage Bay Volunteer Group are dedicated to ensuring the health and longevity of the natural shoreline. In the past, we have cleared out invasive species and created a "New Park" walking trail containing historical information, have advocated for the removal/treatment of invasive lily pads, held a meeting supporting the beaver lodge, and much more. There is so much more that we would like to accomplish, that is why we need help from people like you! Please consider joining our volunteer effort to protect and support this incredible environment.
